These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website at befclips.com and the related automated highlight-clipping service (the "Service") operated by BEF Clips ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. What the Service does
BEF Clips is an automated system that monitors publicly available Twitch livestreams, detects notable moments using engagement signals (such as viewer counts and the rate of chat activity), records short video clips of those public broadcasts, reformats them for vertical short-form video, and publishes them to social media platforms including TikTok and YouTube Shorts through those platforms' official APIs.
2. Source content and attribution
- Clips are derived from streams that are broadcast publicly on Twitch.
- Published clips identify the originating streamer (for example, by displaying their Twitch channel name) so viewers can find the original creator.
- We claim no ownership of the underlying stream content. All rights in a streamer's broadcast remain with the streamer and/or their rights holders.
- If you are a streamer or rights holder and want a clip of your content removed, contact us at contact@befclips.com and we will act on reasonable requests promptly.
3. Third-party platforms
The Service interacts with third-party platforms — including Twitch, TikTok, and YouTube. Your use of those platforms is governed by their own terms and policies, and we operate within the requirements of their APIs and content policies. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Twitch, TikTok, or YouTube.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to break the law, to infringe the rights of others, to circumvent the terms of any third-party platform, or to interfere with the operation or security of the Service.
5. No warranty
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or continuously available.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BEF Clips will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service.
7. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
